Gaurantee
We Will Replace, Once, Without Charge, any Tree, Shrub, or Evergreen that Dies within 12 Months of Installation, Provided that You Give the Plants Normal Care. All Claims for Loss Must be Reported within the One Year Period. Perennials, annuals, Ground Covers, Bulbs, Seeds, and Roses Carry No Guarantee. Plants Identified as Semi-Hardy and Non-Hardy Carry No Guarantee, I.E. Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Japanese Maple, and Any Specialty Tree or Shrub or Evergreen.
We Will Not Replace Plants Killed by Rodents, Insects, Mechanical Damage, Neglect or Natural Disasters. We Cannot Guarantee Plants in Pots or Planter Boxes.
Plant Care - Newly Planted
Watering
When Watering New Plants Give Them 1" of Water a Week. Do this By Placinga Hose at the Base of the Tree or Shrub at a Slow Trickle. For Trees this Should be Done for Approximately 1 to 1 1/2 Hours Once a Week. For Shrubs Water at a Slow Trickle for Approximately 30 to 45 Minutes Once a Week. Perennials should be Watered with a Sprinkler for Approximately 45 to 60 Minutes and Checked Every 3 to 4 Days.
Mulching
Trees and Shrubs should be Mulched with 2" to 3" Thick Layer, Being Careful that the Mulch Does Not Come in Contact with the Bark of the Tree or Shrub. To Do This; Taper the Mulch Towards the Base of the Trunk. Perennials should be Mulched in the Same Way.
Lawn Care - Newly Seeded
Water! Water! Water!
- After Seeding, Water Frequently but Lightly; 10 to 20 Minutes. This would be 2 to 3 Time per Day, Depending On How Hot or Dry the Weather is. For 10 Days to 2 Weeks, Continue this Frequent Watering.
- After 10 Days to 2 Weeks, Water 1 to 2 Times per Day, 30 to 45 Minutes Each. Bluegrass will First Start to Germinate after about 2 Weeks of Watering.
- After 3 to 4 Weeks, Reduce the Frequency of watering, but Increase the Length of Time the Sprinkler is on. After about 2 to 3 Months You Should be Watering 1 to 2 Times per Week, Applying 1 inch of Water per Week.
